Project: STEP back in time

Company: Southwark Costume and Artefacts Service

A chance to dress up for the day and have the results captured by a photographer! Re-create a Tudor banquet in the hall or a Victorian lesson in your classroom.

One Yr 1/2 class can dress up as the Egyptians

One Yr 3/4 class can dress up as the Tudors

One Yr 5/6 class can dress up as the Victorians

You will have costumes and artefacts for the whole class and the teacher to STEP back in time and we will book a photographer to come and take some class photos for you to have on CD.

Where: In-school

Duration: You can keep the costumes and artefacts for a week. You will need to collect all items from SCAS in a vehicle (Bermondsey site of Southwark College)

Number of participants: Up to 30 children in the Yr 1/2 class and the 5/6 class and up to 25 in the Yr 3/4 class

Dates: Available during the Festival (Monday 7 November to Friday 2 December)

One set of costumes and artefacts available to three primary schools, one Yr 1 or 2 class, one Yr 3 or 4 class and one Yr 5 or 6 class.
