Peckham Shed's youth theatre is open to young people aged 12-17 years old.
The group uses a wide range of disciplines to make exciting theatre including: Script work, devising, movement, dance, song, art, animation, comedy… in fact anything the members decide they’d like to try.
Peckham Shed often bring in artists who are specialists in a creative area – dance, film making to support the growth of our members, and regularly take members on trips to see shows.
The youth theatre is user led and encourages its members to make decisions about the work they do.
Once members reach 17 they are encouraged then to support sessions with younger children and to develop their skills as leaders. Peckham Shed are also looking at trialling a new group for young people aged 17+.
