STEP Together Festival 2010

The STEP Together Festival 2010 was STEP’s seventh Festival. The STEP Together theme was chosen to enable Southwark's young people to work in partnership with different schools and companies, creating opportunitites for sharing with other young people. The theatre and performing arts activities scheduled across the Festival fortnight enabled over 2500 of Southwark’s young people to collaborate with others of different ages and experiences; this forged new partnerships and created a sense of togetherness and shared understandings.
- 26 theatre and performing arts partners delivered projects
- 27 projects involving 100 school classes/groups and delivering 234 STEP-funded workshops
- 58 educational institutions took part
- In total 2455 young people participated in the STEP Together Festival
STEP Up and Tell Festival 2009

The STEP Up and Tell Festival 2009 was STEP’s sixth Festival. The STEP Up and Tell theme was chosen to celebrate the heritage and culture of the borough of Southwark and the communities who live here, through the medium of storytelling. The theatre and performing arts activities scheduled across the Festival fortnight enabled over 2500 of Southwark’s young people to step up and tell their stories; giving a platform to those voices which are not always heard.

- 26 projects involving 102 school classes/groups and delivering 178 STEP-funded workshops
- 49 educational institutions took part
- In total 2707 young people participated in the STEP Up and Tell Festival

STEP Forward Festival 2008

The STEP Forward Festival 2008 was STEP’s fifth annual Festival. The STEP Forward theme focused on the way in which theatre and performing arts activities is key to developing and progressing, moving forward and moving on. It also highlighted STEP’s own forward progression in the year leading up to the Festival in November 2008.
- 22 theatre and performing arts partners delivered projects
- 25 projects involving 79 school classes/groups and delivering 130 STEP-funded workshops
- 47 educational institutions took part
- In total 1962 young people participated in the STEP Forward Festival
