Vayu Naidu Company invites Key Stage 2 children to enjoy ‘Bol-Chaal’; three live and interactive storytelling with literacy workshops that gets children ‘on the go’ to:

  • listen
  • read
  • and retell

a collection of exciting stories from India.

Working in collaboration with TULIKA books, (one of India’s leading publishers in children’s literature), the workshops will have a strong literacy focus that explores different forms of oral, written and non-verbal communication.

Through a combination of games, stories and exercises the workshops will help children engage with culturally rich and diverse narratives and understand the universal themes that they communicate to us all.

Where: In-school

Duration: three 1.5hr workshops

Number of participants: up to 30 children in each class

Dates: workshops available throughout the Festival (7 Nov – 2 Dec)

Project available to two primary schools, one KS2 class in each
